How to Transact with Qoin

How to send payment
If you are sending a payment, and are not with the user you are paying, you will need to Wallet Address or a copy of the QR code of the user you want to pay. Once you have received this, open your Qoin Wallet and click 'send'.
Sending via QR code - If you are sending a payment, via a QR code, once you have clicked 'send' on the home screen you will be presented with a screen to enter the amount you are sending. Click the camera icon to display the camera, and hover this over the QR code provided. It will collect the wallet address of the receiver and take you back to the previous screen to enter the amount you are paying. You can then click 'send' and the transaction is complete


Sending via wallet address - If you are sending a payment, via a wallet address, once you have clicked 'send' on the home screen you will be presented with a screen to enter the amount you are sending. Copy the provided wallet address and paste this into the wallet address field, you can then enter your amount. You can then click 'send' and the transaction is complete
You will then be provided a confirmation screen, ensure all details are correct before confirming the transaction.


You can view all completed transactions by selecting the 'transaction' icon at the bottom of the Qoin Wallet screen.
Step by Step Guide Here
Step 1
1. If you are sending a payment, and are not with the user you are paying, before you get started you need the Wallet Address or a copy of the QR code of the user you want to pay.
– If they have sent you their Wallet Address, make sure you select and copy it before you get started.
– If they have sent you their QR Code, make sure you have it ready to scan
After you’ve copied their Wallet Address/have their QR Code ready, open your Qoin Wallet app.
Step 2
On the home screen, or by tapping “Wallet” in the bottom left corner, you’ll be able to see all the currencies held in your wallet and the amount you currently have.
Step 3
Tap on the currency you’d like to pay with to get started with the payment.
– Then tap on ‘Send’.
Step 4
From here you need to click on the ‘camera’ icon to open your scanning screen, then scan the QR Code you have been sent by the user and type in the amount that you want to pay.
– Then Tap / select ‘send’.
Step 5
– Paste the Wallet Address that you copied earlier into the ‘Qoin address’ field and type in the amount that you want to pay.
– Then Tap / select ‘send’.
Step 6
Make sure you review the information before tapping send a second time as this step is irreversible.
– Then tap / select ‘send’ when you’re ready
Step 7
Once you’ve hit send, you’ll be asked to provide your devices relevant security measures, such as a passcode, fingerprint or Face ID.
Step 8
To view all of your recently paid, received or pending transactions, tap on the transactions button on the bottom of the home screen.
1. To Receive Qoin Payments
– To receive payments, open your Qoin Wallet app.
– On the home screen, or by tapping “Wallet” in the bottom left corner, you’ll be able to see all the currencies held in your wallet and the amount you currently have.
2. To receive a payment
To receive a payment, simply tap on the currency that you’d like to receive. – Then tap on ‘Receive’.
3. If you are receiving a Qoin payment via a QR Code
– From here you can have the payee scan your QR code directly from your phone. Once the payee scans the QR code they can pay you instantly.
4. If you are receiving a Qoin payment via your Wallet address
You can copy your unique wallet address and paste it via email, SMS or other platforms to the payee. You can either exit the app and select your preferred method of sending or tap the share icon in the top right corner where you’ll see some common ways to share. Once the payee receives your wallet address, they can make payment.
5. To review all of your recently paid
To review all of your recently paid, received or pending transactions, tap on the transactions button on the bottom of the home screen.
