Update on commencement of migration to Base blockchain

Due to delays beyond our control the migration to the Base blockchain is now expected to commence during April 2025, whereafter the current blockchain and wallet will be discontinued. The Qoin App prompts will guide you step by step through the migration process as per the Announcement and Notice on 14 February 2025. These steps are:

authorize the migration of your Qoin
create your new self-custodial wallet
affirm your non-custodial wallet address and number of Qoin to be migrated
continue to make Qoin transactions from your new wallet.

We have received a number of questions regarding the replacement smart wallet. Please note that the Qoin Foundation will provide more information closer to the anticipated migration date. Should you have any further questions please contact [email protected].
