RU OK? Day is a chance for us to check in with the Qoinmunity

These are unprecedented times, times that require a greater level of care and focus on our mental health and that of those around us.

Prolonged lockdowns and the feelings of isolation and loneliness associated with the times we find ourselves in are pushing many adults and children to the brink.

We’re seeing it every day – burnout, breakdown, even suicide, in children as well as adults.

Thursday, September 9, is RU OK? Day, an initiative that provides us with a prime opportunity to stop, take stock and check in with a work colleague, friend, or family member by way of asking the all-important question.

Supporting small business is the cornerstone of Qoin and with the ‘Qoinmunity’ nudging more than 38,700 merchants and 80,000 wallet holders across Australia and New Zealand, Thursday is everyone’s chance to open and acknowledge the challenges we are facing.

At Qoin we value relationships, we value our Qoin economy and we value doing the right thing, so it in keeping with these values we enlisted the services of Hank van de Merwe from Mastery Global to join us in producing a video project for the Qoin team called ‘How to Keep your Head in Uncertain Times’.

In the first of the three-part series published on the Qoin Digital Network Hank drilled down on the decisions you may be making that are causing you stress.

He followed this up with Part 2 which touched on the reasons why you may be feeling overwhelmed and anxious.

The series wrapped up with Hank discussing the various strategies that could be taken to regain a sense of certainty and freedom.

Each of the episodes is available on our YouTube Channel.
