Mudgee is one of the great wine towns in NSW’s Central West, but when it comes to the overall flavour of this picturesque country town, it extends well beyond the vines and now includes Qoin.
The central shopping precinct offers plenty of taste when it comes to boutique shopping, wardrobe essentials and beautiful homewares stores, and KRYSTIES Boutique, while relatively new, the woman behind the brand knows the locals and knows what visitors want.
“KRYSTIES Boutique is a one-stop shop for your next favourite look,” says Krystie Baker, a Mudgee local, started the business in 2019.
“We are committed to stocking Australian brands including Staple the Label, Mavi, Ping Pong, Carolina, and Zaket & Plover, to name a few.”
The women’s clothing, accessories and giftware store is openly dedicated to dressing every age, shape, and size body, and it is now accepting digital currency payments online and instore.
Located in the heart of Mudgee in Moufarrige Mall off the main street, KRYSTIES Boutique has seen the digital currency, Qoin, become a popular payment option.
“We’ve had local customers and customers as far as Sydney and interstate choose Qoin at the checkout,” Ms Baker said. “In the last few weeks, I’ve been seeing almost daily purchases on Qoin.
She said that sales via the digital currency appeared to be larger ones, ‘so there’s clearly an interest amongst our customer base to use an alternative currency’.
“Qoin offers my boutique exposure and an additional way to move stock.”
The boutique also offers a broad range of women’s accessories, including hats, scarves, belts, handbags, and jewellery.
In the past 18 months, Qoin has more than 38,000 Australian small businesses have joined Qoin, the newest digital currency. Built on blockchain, Qoin offers merchants and consumers an innovative and secure alternative to connect and interact.
